Sunfield is a village in Eaton County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 578 at the 2010 census. The village is located within Sunfield Township.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the village has a total area of 0.80 square miles (2.07 km2), all land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 578 people, 215 households, and 148 families residing in the village. The population density was 722.5 inhabitants per square mile (279.0/km2). There were 241 housing units at an average density of 301.3 per square mile (116.3/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 96.7% White, 0.2% Asian, 1.4% from other races, and 1.7% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.6% of the population.
There were 215 households of which 43.7% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 43.3% were married couples living together, 17.2% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.4% had a male householder with no wife present, and 31.2% were non-families. 26.0% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.65 and the average family size was 3.14.
