Sun Nan (born February 18, 1969) is a famous pop singer from mainland China. He is a native of Dalian.
Sun Nan, is a well-known singer in Mainland, China. Some representatives works are: "Be there or be square","The wind goes to North","Save", and Olympic song "Forever friends". In the year 1990, Sun became a well-known name by the album "Crescent Moon".He has released 12 albums and over 10 million sales in total. Also, Sun has held 30+ concerts in Asia, and 100+ concerts in different cities around the whole world.
In the 1990s he was considered a frontline singer in the Beijing music scene. He came to prominence after 2002.
In August 2012, Sun served on the judging panel of Asian Wave on Dragon Television's . Sun Nan grew up in a small family of China, and his parents did not like him to be a singer at the beginning. But Sun Nan has proved himself of getting many awards in his career.He cancelled all the concerts in Japan during the territorial disputing of Diaoyu Islands between China and Japan.
Sun Nan has 4 children which 3 of them are from his ex-wife (Mai Hongmei), they have a big conflict in the custody of their children, and the lawsuit is still going on.
