Stree ; is a Bengali television Soap Opera that premiered on December 26, 2016 and airs on Zee Bangla. It is produced by Snehasish Chakraborty and it stars Neha Amandeep and Abhijit Bhattacharya in lead roles and Goutam De, Rita Koiral and Dolon Roy in supporting roles. It also stars Moumita Gupta in a negative role. It replaced the popular show Goyenda Ginni. The show telecasts at Monday to Sunday at 7:30 pm.
Stree is a story that focuses on the power of a Woman, and her love and determination for her husband. Niru is an innocent and fearless girl, who belongs to a not-so-privileged section of the society. Unlike any other girl, Niru has always dreamt of her wedding day and her ideal future husband. But life throws her into an unexpected circumstance, when on the day of her marriage she finds out that, her ideal groom is not so ideal, as though he is well established, and belongs to an aristocrat family, he is paralyzed and has to be carried everywhere on wheel chair. A heart-broken Niru denies to marry him, but eventually when she finds out of his generosity and his various other interests, she gets impressed. And once she finds out that the family has been conspiring against him, she decides to marry him. The story unfolds various aspects and struggles of Niru to save her husband from the evil.
Current track: shakuntala dev and her son's tried to kill pritijeet and nirupoma with their Goons . But nirupoma saved pritijeet from the goons and she is trying to make shakuntala dev a really nice person. Later shakuntala and her son's do a fake act of being a good person . They pretend to apologize to nirupoma so she can forgive them for all their sins.
