State Route 59 (SR 59) is a 94-mile (151 km) state highway in Baldwin and Monroe counties in the southwestern portion of the U.S. state of Alabama. The highway extends from Gulf Shores on the Gulf of Mexico coast to Uriah in rural southwestern Alabama.
SR 59 begins at an intersection with SR 182 in Gulf Shores. The highway travels north through Foley, Robertsdale, Loxley, and Bay Minette, where it intersects SR 287. This portion of the highway is four lanes, known as the Gulf Shores Parkway, that was widened in the 1990s for hurricane evacuation purposes. Part of the road is concurrent with U.S. Route 31 (US 31).
North of Bay Minette, the highway becomes a much more rural road as it proceeds northeasterly towards Uriah and its final intersection with SR 21.
