Springfield Township is a township in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,124 at the 2010 census. Children residing in the township are assigned to attend the Troy Area School District.
Springfield Township is located in northwest Bradford County and is bordered by South Creek and Ridgebury townships to the north, Smithfield Township to the east, West Burlington Township to the southeast, Troy Township to the south and southwest, and Columbia Township to the west.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 41.8 square miles (108.3 km2), of which 41.6 square miles (107.7 km2) is land and 0.23 square miles (0.6 km2), or 0.57%, is water.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,167 people, 424 households, and 345 families residing in the township. The population density was 27.9 people per square mile (10.8/km²). There were 557 housing units at an average density of 13.3/sq mi (5.1/km²). The racial makeup of the township was 98.80% White, 0.17% African American, 0.09% from other races, and 0.94% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.26% of the population.
