Spring Garden Township is a township in York County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 12,578 at the 2010 census. The township is adjacent to the city of York.

The Nook was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 6.7 square miles (17 km2), of which 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2), or 0.30%, is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 12,578 people, 4,302 households, and 3,062 families residing in the township. The population density was 1,877.3 inhabitants per square mile (724.8/km2). There were 4,529 housing units at an average density of 676.0 per square mile (261.0/km2). The racial makeup of the township was 91.8% White, 3.8% African American, 0.2% Native American, 1.7% Asian, 0.0% Pacific Islander, 1.0% from other races, and 1.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.5% of the population.

There were 4,302 households out of which 28.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.6% were married couples living together, 10.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.8% were non-families. 22.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 9.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 2.88.
