Splendora is a town in Montgomery County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,615 at the 2010 census. Splendora was named for the splendor of its trees.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5.4 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2000, there were 1,275 people, 434 households, and 352 families residing in the city. The population density was 603.8 people per square mile (233.3/km²). There were 470 housing units at an average density of 222.6 per square mile (86.0/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 94.82% White, 0.31% African American, 0.78% Native American, 1.10% Asian, 1.80% from other races, and 1.18% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.25% of the population.
There were 434 households out of which 46.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.5% were married couples living together, 12.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 18.7% were non-families. 14.7% of all households were made up of individuals and 5.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
