South Hayward is a Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station located near Tennyson Road in Hayward, California, United States. The station consists of two side platforms. The station serves the industrial part of Hayward. BART's Hayward train yard is south of this station and is where BART sends trains for service and repair, for the Fremont-Daly City line and the Fremont-Richmond line. While traveling between South Hayward and Union City BART stations, idle BART trains as well as some rare replacement train parts, such as new outer-front A-car BART train shells, are visible.
