South Dakota Highway 407 (SD 407) is a short state highway in Oglala Lakota County in southwestern South Dakota. Along with Nebraska Highway 87 (N-87), SD 407 serves as a connector route between U.S. Route 18 (US 18) in Pine Ridge, South Dakota, and US 20 in Rushville, Nebraska.
SD 407 begins as N-87 crosses the state line south of Pine Ridge. The highway travels north towards Pine Ridge. It ends at an intersection with US 18 in Pine Ridge. On average, SD 407 is driven by over 4700 vehicles per day.
