The Daegok–Sosa Line is a future subway line scheduled to open in 2021. The line would have between five and eight stations.
The line will consist of 18.36 km of track from Sosa to Daegok. This would connected Sosa with the Sosa–Wonsi Line through Bucheon, Gimpo Airport, and into Ilsan in Goyang City, with a total travel time of 16 minutes. The line will have transfers available for Line 7 at Bucheon Stadium Station, Lines 5, 9, and Arex at Gimpo Airport Station, and Line 3 and the Gyeongui-Jungang Line at Daegok Station. Construction is scheduled to begin in March 2016 with a completion date of 2021. The construction is done under a build-lease-transfer concept and is carried out by Hyundai Engineering & Construction.
The following list of stations may be subject to change as the line is constructed and various sources give conflicting information.
Tentative plans foresee the upgrade and incorporation of the Gyowae Line, currently a single-track non-electrified line without passenger service that connects Neunggok Station (with a junction just before Daegok Station) and Uijeongbu Station in Uijeongbu. The Uijeongbu–Daegok–Sosa-Wonsi Line would then provide orbital metro service as a northern semicircle around Seoul, complementing the southern semicircle formed by the Bundang Line and the Suin Line.
