Sophie Lisa Hopkins (born 25 November 1990) is a British actress and model, best known for her role as April MacLean in the BBC's Doctor Who spin-off Class.
Hopkins was born in Singapore and grew up in East Yorkshire, England. She later attended City of York College, where she studied Performing Arts and Musical Theatre. In 2010, she moved to London and joined Fourth Monkey, a repertory theatre company with a focus on training new performers for the entertainment industry.
In April 2016, Hopkins was cast in the BBC Three Doctor Who spin-off Class as April MacLean.
