Somerville is an unincorporated community and former village in Milford Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States. The population was 281 at the 2010 census.

Somerville is located at 39°33′43″N 84°38′17″W / 39.56194°N 84.63806°W / 39.56194; -84.63806 (39.562003, -84.637949).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the village had a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2), all land.

Somerville was incorporated as a village in 1832. On March 15, 2016, Somerville residents voted 52% to 48% to dissolve the village into Milford Township, after its entire council faced term limits or resigned.

As of the census of 2010, there were 281 people, 96 households, and 74 families residing in the village. The population density was 1,124.0 inhabitants per square mile (434.0/km2). There were 106 housing units at an average density of 424.0 per square mile (163.7/km2). The racial makeup of the village was 98.2% White and 1.8% from two or more races.

There were 96 households of which 34.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.3% were married couples living together, 10.4% had a female householder with no husband present, 8.3% had a male householder with no wife present, and 22.9% were non-families. 19.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 4.1% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.93 and the average family size was 3.34.
