"Sing Me a Song" is the seventh episode of the seventh season and 90th episode overall of the post-apocalyptic horror television series The Walking Dead, which aired on AMC on December 4, 2016. The episode was written by Angela Kang and Corey Reed, and directed by Rosemary Rodriguez.

The episode focuses on a much more detailed look into the world of the Saviors and their home, the Sanctuary. Meanwhile, members of Alexandria look for supplies.

After tricking Jesus (Tom Payne) into separating from him, Carl (Chandler Riggs) remains in the back of the Saviors' cargo truck he snuck onto heading towards the Sanctuary, with the intent to kill Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan). Carl manages to kill two Saviors with a machine gun and aims the gun at Negan when he appears shortly after. Shocked at seeing Carl, Daryl (Norman Reedus) watches helplessly from the other side of the walker-encrusted fence. Moments later, Carl is tackled to the ground and subdued by Dwight (Austin Amelio), but Negan, impressed by Carl, tells Dwight to back off. Negan helps Carl up and offers to show him around the compound. Carl refuses, but complies after Negan threatens to chop off Daryl's arm. After making a speech in front of a crowd of kneeling Saviors on a factory floor so he can show Carl how much they respect him, Negan takes Carl to a nicely appointed room and introduces him to his "harem" of wives. Pulling Sherry (Christine Evangelista) aside for a private conversation, Sherry reluctantly concedes to Negan that one of his other wives, Amber (Autumn Dial), has been cheating on him with her ex-boyfriend, Mark (Griffin Freeman). In response, Negan admonishes Amber and tells Dwight, with Daryl in tow, to start heating up the "iron". Concerned about Carl being under Negan's wing, Daryl becomes unexpectedly aggressive towards Negan, who merely brushes him aside.
