Simu Liu (born April 19, 1989) is a Canadian actor, director, stuntman, and writer, best known for the role of Jung in the CBC Television sitcom Kim's Convenience. He was a Canadian Screen Award nominee for his work in Blood and Water. He will play the role of Faaron in the upcoming NBC prequel series Taken.

Liu was born in Harbin, China, and immigrated to Canada at the age of five, where he was raised in Erin Mills, an area of Mississauga, Ontario. He studied finance and accounting at the University of Western Ontario and worked as an accountant before deciding to pursue a career as an actor.

His onscreen credits include Blood and Water, Make It Pop, Beauty and the Beast, and Nikita. He was a member of the Heroes Reborn stunt team, appearing in three episodes, and also participated in the writing room for Blood and Water for which he wrote one episode.

In 2016, Liu was cast as the ex-CIA analyst Faaron in the NBC prequel series based on the Taken film franchise starring Liam Neeson, as well as Jung in the CBC television adaptation of the hit Canadian play Kim's Convenience.

He was nominated for a 2016 Dora Mavor Moore Award in the Outstanding Ensemble category alongside his castmates in the Factory Theatre remount of the play Banana Boys.
