Short track speed skating at the 2017 Asian Winter Games will be held in Sapporo, Japan between 20–22 February at the Makomanai Ice Arena. A total of eight events will be contested (four each for men and women).

A total of 17 nations have entered athletes into the short track speed skating competitions. Australia and New Zealand as guest nations, are ineligible to win any medals. The number of athletes a nation entered is in parentheses beside the name of the country.
