Shelburne, officially named the Municipality of the District of Shelburne, is a district municipality comprising the eastern section of Shelburne County, Nova Scotia, Canada. Statistics Canada classifies the district municipality as a municipal district.
In the 2016 Census of Population conducted by Statistics Canada, the Municipality of the District of Shelburne recorded a population of 4,288 living in 1,971 of its 2,635 total private dwellings, a change of −2.7% from its 2011 population of 4,408. With a land area of 1,821.07 km2 (703.12 sq mi), it had a population density of 2.4/km2 (6.1/sq mi) in 2016.
