Shaun Peter Murphy (born 5 November 1970, in Sydney, New South Wales) is an Australian former association football player. His club career included stints with Notts County (1992–1997), West Bromwich Albion (1997–1999), Sheffield United (1999–2003) and Crystal Palace (2001–02) in England, before returning to Australia for one season to captain Perth Glory (2003–04).
He was a member of the Australian national team and scored a winner against Brazil for Australia in the 2001 Confederations Cup third place play-off match. He also represented Australia at the 1992 Summer Olympics.
