Sharon Railway (Hebrew: מסילת השרון, translit. mesilat ha-šaron) is a double-track railroad in the Sharon plain area of Israel, currently being constructed in the median of Highway 531 as a connection between the Coastal Railway and the Eastern Railway. Out of the total projected length of 12 km, only 5 km have been completed by end of 2017. The project includes widening the section of the Coastal Railway between Tel Aviv University and Herzliya, which is double-track since the late 1980s, to four tracks.
The construction of both the highway and the railway started in the early 2000s, and the first station on the new line, Kfar Saba–Nordau, opened on 13 April 2003. The second station, Hod Hasharon Sokolov, opened on 2 September 2006, and is the current terminus of the line. Two more new stations, Ra'anana South and Ra'anana West, are scheduled to open by April 2019.
