Kazi Sharmin Nahid Nupur, (born 17 December 1979), better known by stage name Shabnur, is a Bangladeshi film actress. She made her debut in Chandni Raate directed by Ehtesham in 1993. Her first commercially successful film was Duniaar badsha with co-actor Amin Khan and then tumi amar (actor)|Salman Shah]] in 1994 and most of her film act was associated with him until his death in 1996.She made a history with Salman Shah and that was they did 14 nos movies together and all the movies were hit, superhit. She also acted with others like Amin khan, Omar Sany and she got success with them also. after demise of Salman, She started acting with Riaz and Shakil Khan after Salman Shah’s death. She also acted with Manna, Amin Khan, Ferdous Ahmed and Shakib Khan. She received National Film Award as the best actress in 2006 for Dui Noyoner Alo.

Shabnur debuted her career with co-actor Shabbir in the film “Chandni Rate”, directed by Ehtesham.

After a year of hiatus, she returned to acting with the film Evabe Bhalobasa Hoy directed by Montazur Rahman Akbar.

Shabnur has acted opposite almost all leading actors in the 1990s and 2000s including Salman Shah, Riaz (actor), Shakib Khan, Shakil Khan, Omar Sunny, Amin Khan, Amit Hasan etc.

Shabnur won the National Film Awards of Best Actress in 2006 and won record 10 time Meril Prothom Alo Awards.

Shabnur got engaged with Anik Mahmud on 6 December 2011 and got married on 28 December 2012. Anik is a businessman. Together they have a son Aijan Nehan. Her father is Shahjahan Chowdhury. She has a sister, Jhumur. She has also founded a school in Dhaka.
