Seward is a city in Stafford County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 64.
Seward was named for William H. Seward. A post office was opened in Seward in 1878, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1995.
Seward is located at 38°10′39″N 98°47′44″W / 38.177593°N 98.795480°W (38.177593, -98.795480). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.25 square miles (0.65 km2), all of it land.
As of the census of 2010, there were 64 people, 31 households, and 16 families residing in the city. The population density was 256.0 inhabitants per square mile (98.8/km2). There were 37 housing units at an average density of 148.0 per square mile (57.1/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 100.0% White.
