Seven Oaks is located at 30°51′13″N 94°51′23″W / 30.85361°N 94.85639°W / 30.85361; -94.85639 (30.853567, -94.856427).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.6 km2), all of it land.

As of the census of 2000, there were 131 people, 48 households, and 34 families residing in the city. The population density was 94.3 people per square mile (36.4/km²). There were 75 housing units at an average density of 54.0/sq mi (20.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 22.90% White, 58.02% African American, 5.34% Asian, 10.69% from other races, and 3.05% from two or more races.
