"Seaside Treats" is the first single by Cardiacs and was released only as a 12-inch single. It features four songs from the album, The Seaside.

Some copies of the single had a poster of the Cardiacs book as a free gift. A very small number of "Seaside bags" were sold at concerts which contained the 12", the Cardiacs book, the Seaside Treats video, a poster, a badge and a stick of Cardiacs seaside rock.

This is the first official video released by Cardiacs.

The video contains a ten-minute segment known as The Consultant's Flower Garden, which features the band and other people connected to the band performing several bizarre alternative comedy sketches. This is followed by three music videos.

The video could be found in the very small number of "Seaside bags" that were sold at concerts which also contained the Seaside Treats 12", the Cardiacs book, a poster, a badge and a stick of Cardiacs seaside rock. It was also on general sale for a time.

The video was released three times, but is now long deleted. It is very rare and is highly sought after.
