The Sayre Area School District is a small, rural public school district located in northcentral Bradford County, Pennsylvania. The District serves two noncontiguous fragments: the Boroughs of Sayre and South Waverly and Litchfield Township in Bradford County, Pennsylvania. Sayre Area School District encompasses approximately 58 square miles (150 km2). According to 2000 federal census data, it serves a resident population of 5,813 people. By 2010, the District's population increased to 7,938 people. The educational attainment levels for the Sayre Area School District population (25 years old and over) were 87.3% high school graduates and 21.4% college graduates. Sayre Area School District is one of the 500 public school districts of Pennsylvania
