Sayonara Technopolis (サヨナラTECHNOPOLiS lit. Goodbye/Farewell Technopolis?) is the fifth single by the Japanese electronica artist Mitsuki Aira. It was released January 21, 2009.
The single was marketed with the tagline "Electro meets big beat", and the tracks Sayonara Technopolis and High SD Sneaker (pronounced "High Speed Dance Sneaker") are most notably big beat-influenced. Track 6 of the single is a "Big Beat Crush remix" of "High SD Sneaker".
Aira stated that "Sayonara Technopolis" and its b-sides were written in response to the modern problems of the economy, apathy and global warming, also stating, "I wish that the human race could re-start on the Moon. When the time comes to live in the Moon some time and we see the Earth from the Moon, I hope for the Earth to be the place we want to live."
Aira owns an allotment of land on the Moon, and the single's cover uses NASA-licensed images.
