Satanta is a city in Haskell County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,133. Every year there is a celebration of Satanta's Indian heritage called Satanta Day.
The town is named after Kiowa Chief Satanta.
The first post office in Satanta was established in October 1912.
