Sarah Close (born 27 April 1995) is a British singer-songwriter and YouTuber from the Isle of Wight. She originally gained popularity posting covers of songs on YouTube. Her first single, "Call Me Out", was released on 3 March 2017 and her debut extended play Caught Up was released on 14 April 2017.

Born and raised on the Isle of Wight, Close grew up in a musical family with her parents being part of a covers band on the island. Initially averse to following in her parents' footsteps, Close didn't consider going into music until 2009, soon after which she started posting covers on YouTube following encouragement from a friend. Close attended the Ryde School where she completed her A-levels in Biology, English Literature, and Spanish.

At eighteen, Close moved to London to attend the The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance to study music and songwriting. In May 2015, Close dropped out of university due to increased demand for her to be working on music outside of her courses and coursework. She was initially slated to release an EP in September 2015; however realizing that her manager wasn't the right fit for her and her music, the EP was delayed.

Meanwhile, Close's covers on YouTube were garnering acclaim online, and her YouTube account surpassed 500,000 subscribers in March 2016. As of 13 April 2017 she has more than 723,000 subscribers on the site. She also collaborated on covers with artists Conor Maynard and Dodie Clark. Prior to the release of the Caught Up EP, Close played a number of shows and festivals including Bestival and VidCon.

In February 2017, Close announced the release of her first single, "Call Me Out", released on 3 March 2017 as well as her debut EP Caught Up, which was released April 14, 2017. On 8 March 2017, Close released the official music video for "Call Me Out" on her youtube channel. With this news Close also announced the creation of her own label, The Kodiak Club, under license to Parlophone Records. On the creation of her own label, Close tweeted that she always wanted to own record label to allow for more creative control, and that she wanted to make something people could feel a part of, hence the name Kodiak comes from, a title of one of Close's songs. On 20 April, the music video for "Caught Up" was released on Close's YouTube channel. "Call Me Out" debuted at number one on the UK Official Physical Singles Chart following the release of the Caught Up EP.
