Sangerville is a town in Piscataquis County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,343 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Colonel Calvin Sanger, a landowner.
On June 14, 2014 Sangerville celebrated its bicentennial.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 39.72 square miles (102.87 km2), of which, 38.42 square miles (99.51 km2) of it is land and 1.30 square miles (3.37 km2) is water.

The racial makeup of the town was 96.8% White, 0.4% African American, 1.1% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.1% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races.
