Sangerville is a town in Piscataquis County, Maine, United States. The population was 1,343 at the 2010 census. The town was named after Colonel Calvin Sanger, a landowner.
On June 14, 2014 Sangerville celebrated its bicentennial.
According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 39.72 square miles (102.87 km2), of which, 38.42 square miles (99.51 km2) of it is land and 1.30 square miles (3.37 km2) is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 1,343 people, 612 households, and 402 families residing in the town. The population density was 35.0 inhabitants per square mile (13.5/km2). The racial makeup of the town was 96.8% White, 0.4% African American, 1.1% Native American, 0.2% Asian, 0.1% from other races, and 1.3% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.4% of the population.
