Sanatoga is a community and census-designated place (CDP) in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is immediately east of the borough of Pottstown, Pennsylvania on route US 422. The population was 8,378 at the 2010 census.
Sanatoga is located at 40°15′1″N 75°35′20″W / 40.25028°N 75.58889°W (40.250252, -75.588933).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.8 km2), of which 0.29% is water.
Sanatoga is adjacent to U.S. Route 422.
As of the census of 2000, there were 7,734 people, 2,734 households, and 2,058 families residing in the CDP. The population density was 2,265.7 people per square mile (875.7/km2). There were 2,811 housing units at an average density of 823.5/sq mi (318.3/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 85.60% White, 11.46% African American, 0.14% Native American, 0.92% Asian, 0.04% Pacific Islander, 0.32% from other races, and 1.53% from two or more races.
