The San Antonio City Hall is the legislative arm of the municipal government of the city of San Antonio in the U.S. state of Texas.
San Antonio has a council-manager form of government in which the city manager, Sheryl Sculley, is the city's main, albeit unelected, executive. As of April 2017, Ivy Taylor serves as the mayor of San Antonio.
San Antonio is divided into 10 districts for purposes of electoral representation in the council. They are, as of April 2017, as follows:
Ray Lopez, Ron Nirenberg, Joe Krier, and Mike Gallagher are retiring in 2017; as a result, there will be new city councilpeople for their districts - 6, 8, 9, and 10, respectively. The 2017 San Antonio City Council election for all districts will be held on May 6th.
