Saltillo is a city in Lee County, Mississippi, located in the northern part of the Tupelo micropolitan area. The population was 4,752 at the 2010 Census.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 8.7 square miles (23 km2), of which 8.7 square miles (23 km2) is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) (0.23%) is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3,393 people, 1,361 households, and 974 families residing in the town. The population density was 389.5 people per square mile (150.4/km²). There were 1,453 housing units at an average density of 166.8 per square mile (64.4/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 93.93% White, 4.69% African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.47% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.09% from other races, and 0.74% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.59% of the population.

There were 1,361 households out of which 38.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 57.0% were married couples living together, 10.9% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.4% were non-families. 25.6% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.45 and the average family size was 2.94.

In the town the population was spread out with 26.9% under the age of 18, 9.0% from 18 to 24, 34.0% from 25 to 44, 19.2% from 45 to 64, and 10.8% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 33 years. For every 100 females there were 87.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 86.0 males.
