Sahir Lodhi is a Pakistani film actor, director and tv host. He also runs a foundation, The Sahir Lodhi Foundation, working in the areas of primary health care, education, motivation and legal aid.
Sahir Lodhi was born in Karachi to Ali Gohar Lodhi and Roshan Taj Lodhi. He grew up in a family with two brothers and one sister Shaista Lodhi. He studied at Pakistan Navy Boys School and received a master's degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Montana.
Lodhi made his first TV appearance in Chai Time on Indus TV, which became a hit morning show. He produced Shair Online, Kuch Tum Kahao Kuch Hum Kahain, Ranjhey Sassi Punoon Heer, Dhorajee, The Sahir Show and Morning Masala shows. He also has played different roles in drama serials, including Bechrain Gay Abb Kaisay, Bikharnay Say Pehlay, Tum Miyray Ho, Khado Khal, Saheli and Adhoray Khaab. He runs a foundation, The Sahir Lodhi Foundation, working in the areas of primary health care, education, motivation and legal aid.
The Sahir Show (Monday-Friday) is a Pakistani radio show airing on Mast FM 103. The show focuses predominantly on entertainment, fun and counseling. He occasionally invites guests and takes calls from all around Pakistan. Each episode features a special topic. Hum Tum was a series in which he played both the roles of a man (voice) and a woman (voice) of a film.
In the 1st Pakistan Media Awards, Lodhi received awards for her TV and Radio shows.
