Ryan Hemsworth (born April 23, 1990) is a Canadian record producer and DJ. Raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, he attended University of King's College, where he studied journalism. His speciality is electronic music and sampling. He has produced tracks for Deniro Farrar and Shady Blaze, among others. He has also remixed works by Grimes, Frank Ocean, Tinashe and Cat Power. His 2013 LP, Guilt Trips, was released by Last Gang Records. In 2014, he released the second album, Alone for the First Time.
In July 2014, Hemsworth was the recipient of the SOCAN Breakout Award at the SOCAN Awards in Toronto.
