The Admiral Grigorovich is the lead frigate of the Admiral Grigorovich class of the Russian Navy. It is based with the Black Sea Fleet at Sevastopol.
Admiral Grigorovich targeted terrorists in Syria with Kalibr cruise missiles during November 2016.
The ship was deployed to the waters off Syria in response to the United States cruise missile strike of Shayrat Airbase which took place on the morning of 7 April 2017.
