She represented India at Miss Universe 2016 pageant on 30 January 2017 in Manila, Philippines in which she was placed Top 6 Best in National Costume.
Roshmitha was born and bought up in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. She did her schooling from Sophia High School, Bangalore and is a student of Mount Carmel College, Bangalore.
