The Roosevelt Public School District is a community public school district that serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade from Roosevelt in Monmouth County, New Jersey, United States.
As of the 2014-15 school year, the district and its one school had an enrollment of 131 students and 10.4 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 12.6:1.
The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "GH", the third-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. From lowest socioeconomic status to highest, the categories are A, B, CD, DE, FG, GH, I and J.
For seventh through twelfth grades, public school students attend the East Windsor Regional School District, which serves students from East Windsor Township and Hightstown Borough, with students from Roosevelt attending as part of a sending/receiving relationship. Schools in the East Windsor district attended by Roosevelt students (with 2014-15 enrollment data from the National Center for Education Statistics) are Melvin H. Kreps Middle School for grades 6 - 8 (but only 7-8 for Roosevelt) with 1,231 students and Hightstown High School with 1,503 students in grades 9 - 12.
