Rogelio Medina (born September 16, 1988 in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, Mexico) is a Mexican professional boxer and is considered one of the Best middleweight prospects in Mexico. In 2008, he won the WBC FECOMBOX Super Middleweight Title.
In August 2009, the Mexican prospect and knock out artist Medina won by first round K.O. over veteran boxer Humberto Corral in Sonora, Mexico.
He was the headliner on an Azteca América Boxing card, beating Demetrius Davis by a 10-round unanimous decision. In that fight Rogelio suffered two fractures in his right hand, the injury kept him inactive until his technical knockout win against the veteran Luis Castro.
On December 17, 2010 Medina lost to the undefeated Mexican Gilberto Ramírez for the vacant WBC Youth World Middleweight Championship. The bout was held at the Gimnasio German Evers in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, Mexico.
