Roderick Marshall Carr is a New Zealand businessman and administrator. He is currently Vice-Chancellor of the University of Canterbury and chairman of the board of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, a director of Lyttelton Port Company, Taranaki Investment Management and Canterbury Employers’ Chamber of Commerce.
Carr has been legally blind since at least school age.
Carr has held executive positions at the Bank of New Zealand and the National Australia Bank and multiple roles at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand.
Running Jade Software Corporation was Carr's first exposure to the technology industry.
Since 2009, Carr has served as Vice Chancellor at the University of Canterbury.
