The Rockingham County Baseball League is a summer baseball league in Rockingham County, Virginia. The RCBL is the second oldest continuous baseball league in the country - trailing only major league baseball. It was founded in 1924, and has included teams from across Rockingham County and up and down the Shenandoah Valley, it currently has 9 teams. In 2015 the RCBL added a new team the Grottoes Cardinals who had been dormant. The league consist of three divisions North, Central and South. The league has a 26-game regular season schedule. The playoffs start with the two worst teams in the league playing a one game play-in game. The first round of the playoffs is the best out of three games, the second round is best out of five games and the third and final round is best out of seven games.
