Robert M Christie

Robert Main Christie (15 November 1865 – 15 May 1918) was a Scottish footballer and curler.

Christie played once for Scotland at football, against England in March 1884. He also played for Queen's Park and scored a goal in the 1884 FA Cup Final, which Queen's Park lost 2–1 to Blackburn Rovers. Christie later served in the Second Boer War and the First World War. By the time of his death he was a major in the Labour Company. Christie died of gas poisoning and wounds on 15 May 1918 and was buried at St Sever Cemetery, Rouen, France.
