Richard Evans (January 23, 1935) is a retired American actor, best known for his work in television.

Throughout his career, Evans has guest starred in television series, such as Wagon Train, Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Sea Hunt, Cheyenne, The Rifleman, The Fugitive, Perry Mason, Gunsmoke, The Iron Horse, The Men from Shiloh, Star Trek (episode "Patterns of Force") and Bonanza.

On April 15, 1962, Evans was cast as a young cutthroat, Billy Deal, in the episode "Sunday" of the ABC-WB western series, Lawman. In the story line, Frank Boone (Andrew Duggan) desperately demands that he be allowed to take Billy Deal from Laramie, Wyoming, to the Montana Territory, where Boone claims to own land and can receive amnesty for his own past crimes in return for bringing Deal to the gallows. At great risk to himself, Marshal Dan Troop (series star John Russell) is determined to follow his instructions and send Deal on the Sunday train to answer for another crime in Casper, Wyoming. The clash leads to a gunfight between Boone and Troop. He also was in a 1969 Lassie episode "No Margin For Error" (Season 16), playing Jeff Treat, a college student son of a local rancher who offers to help Ranger Scott survey a retired bombsite for a future grasslands area. When Jeff is accidentally hurt and partly buried in a sandslide, he finds that the slide has uncovered a live bomb next to him. He relies upon both Ranger Scott and Lassie to help disarm the bomb and dig him out to get to safety.
