Ryszard "Rich" Szaro (March 7, 1948 – April 7, 2015) was a Polish-born professional American football player who played placekicker for five seasons for the New York Jets and New Orleans Saints.
Szaro moved to the United States in 1962 settling in New York City and studied at St. Francis Preparatory School in Brooklyn and Harvard University prior to his NFL career. Szaro returned to Poland to live and work in the 1990s.
