Raxaul (Vidhan Sabha constituency) (Hindi: रक्सौल विधान सभा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र) is an assembly constituency in Purvi Champaran district in the Indian state of Bihar.
As per orders of Delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly constituencies Order, 2008, 10. Raxaul (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is composed of the following: Raxaul and Adapur community development blocks.
Raxaul (Vidhan Sabha constituency) is part of 2. Paschim Champaran (Lok Sabha constituency). It was earlier part of Bettiah (Lok Sabha constituency).
In the November 2010, October 2005, February 2005, and 2000 state assembly elections, Dr Ajay Kumar Singh of BJP won the 10 Raxaul assembly seat, defeating his nearest rival Rajnandan Rai of LJP in November 2010, October 2005, February 2005, and Sagir Ahmad of Congress in 2000. Contests in most years were multi cornered but only winners and runners are being mentioned. Rajnandan Rai of JD defeated Dr. Ajay Kumar Singh of BJP in 1995 and Sagir Ahmad of Congress in 1990. Sagir Ahmad of Congress defeated Rajnandan Rai of LD in 1985, Radha Pandey of Janata Party (JP) in 1980 and Shankar Prasad Yadav of Janata Party in 1977.
