Ras ben Sakka is the northernmost point of the African continent, located 15 kilometres from Bizerte, the northernmost city in Africa on the Mediterranean Sea, 22 kilometres to the north-east of the Ichkeul lake World Heritage Site, in Tunisia. It is located at 37.346983N, 9.754608E, just 950 meters west of Ras al-Abyad (Cap Blanc), which is often mentioned as the northern tip of Africa, and reaching more than 30 meters further north than the latter.
