Randolph is a city in Clay County, Missouri. The population was 52 at the 2010 census.
An early variant name was "East Kansas City". The name of the post office changed from East Kansas City to Randolph in 1920, and the post office closed in 1928.
Randolph is located at 39°9′31″N 94°29′40″W / 39.15861°N 94.49444°W (39.158653, -94.494410).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.35 square miles (0.91 km2), of which, 0.33 square miles (0.85 km2) of it is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2) is water. Randolph is on the banks of the Missouri River. It is surrounded by Kansas City on all land borders, and the opposite side of the Missouri is also Kansas City.
As of the census of 2010, there were 52 people, 24 households, and 14 families residing in the city. The population density was 157.6 inhabitants per square mile (60.8/km2). There were 26 housing units at an average density of 78.8 per square mile (30.4/km2). The racial makeup of the city was 98.1% White and 1.9% Asian. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.9% of the population.
There were 24 households of which 20.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 41.7% were married couples living together, 12.5% had a female householder with no husband present, 4.2% had a male householder with no wife present, and 41.7% were non-families. 33.3% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 2.71.
