Ramez Naam

Ramez Naam is a professional technologist and science fiction writer. He is best known as the author of the Nexus Trilogy.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, his family moved to the United States when Naam was three years old.

Naam currently holds a seat on the advisory board of the Acceleration Studies Foundation, is a member of the World Future Society, a Senior Associate of the Foresight Institute, and a fellow of the Institute for Ethics and Emerging Technologies.

2014 Nexus won the Prometheus Award, and he was nominated for the John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.

2015 Apex won the Philip K. Dick Award.
