Rama Rao Jr.), a lonely college student lives. He spends his time with his friends and happens to fall in love in first sight with Akarsha (Samantha) who stays with her grandmother Baby Shalini (Rohini Hattangadi). Nandu accompanies Akarsha to her sister's marriage in her hometown and by then, Nandu is treated as a family friend by Akarsha's family. That night, Nagabhushanam is killed by Nandu and those two assassins who happen to be a team. It is shown later that Nandu used Akarsha as a bait to reach Nagabhushanam to kill him.
