Rathnappa Madhesh (also known as R. Madhesh) is an Indian-born Tamil film director mainly known for Vijay Starrer "Madhurey" and Vijayakanth's 150th film, Arasangam, in 2008.

Madhesh, who had distributed many movies including successful ones like 'Thulluvatho Illamai' till the Ajith-starrer 'Villain'.

In late 2005, he worked on the pre-production of a film titled Sarkar with Madhavan in the lead role.
