Rallapalli Narasimha Rao, popularly known by his surname Rallapalli, is an Indian film character actor known for his works in Telugu and Tamil cinema.
He has acted in about 850 films in a variety of roles, including lead actor. He played pivotal roles in films such as Bombay and Minsara Kanavu in Tamil.
He has received three state Nandi Awards, including the Nandi Award for Best Actor in 1976 for the National Award winning film Oorummadi Brathukulu, the Nandi Award for Best Male Comedian in 1986, and the Nandi Award for Best Supporting actor – Television for Ganapathi.
