Rajshri Deshpande

Rajshri Deshpande is an Indian actress, who appears in theatre, films and TV shows.

Rajshri Deshpande is an acting alumni of Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. Her mother wanted her to have a professional degree so she studied law. She got into the advertising industry to support herself, but soon found her calling in acting.

She is Lead in Sanal Kumar Shashidharan's film Sexy Durga which won "Hivos Toger Award in Rotterdam film Festival She played the role of Lakshmi in the critically acclaimed film Angry Indian Goddesses, directed by Pan Nalin and edited by Shreyas Beltangdy. The film received 1st Runner Up - People's Choice Award in TIFF (Toronto) and People's Choice Award in Rome Film Festival. She played a double role in a Malayalam film Haram, as Ameena and Roopa, which released in 2015.

She has also made appearances in Talaash and Kick. Rajshri has a number of upcoming projects slated to release in 2016, including multilingual film Eli Eli Lama Sabachthani? and late Bappaditya Bandopadhyay's Bengali film. She has also acted in TV shows like Kuch to Log Kahenge and 24: India, where she played the character of Agent Veena.
