Raj Mahajan is an Indian Music Director,Composer,Actor, Singer, Poet and TV Show Host who work mainly in Music Videos, TV Shows and Music Albums. He is best known for his music direction in Music Videos and Albums. His career began with his own music video 'Zindagi Ki Kitaab' in the year 2013. In this year, he met and worked together in an album named ''. In his music career, Raj has composed and directed music for more than a hundred music albums, covering many genres and languages. His popular releases were 'Teri Yaad Mein Maa' and 'Baby Looking Yummy Yummy'.
He has been awarded with Kala Ratna Award, Sewa Samarpan Award, Rajdhani Ratna Award and Media Achievers award for his contribution and achievements.
In 2015, he hosted a TV show named Music Masti with Raj Mahajan which was broadcast on DishaTV Channel.
Raj was born and brought-up in a middle class vaish family in Delhi. He is the youngest one among 3 brothers. He did his schooling from Laxmi Public Higher Secondary School. He would compose and write at the same time since his childhood. He would spend his most of the time in reading books and practicing musical keyboard in his childhood. Writing poems was his another passion in his childhood. His inclination towards music led him to decide to drop study during graduation. Raj has 2 children named Saumya Mahajan and Moksh Mahajan.
He started his career by doing small businesses of Cybercafe, Computer Typing, Photostat, STD Booth, Kachori-Samosa Shop, Lathe Machine, Paan Shop, etc. to fulfill his parent's desires. But, he kept his passion alive during his engagement in business and continued music practice along with earning livelihood in small age. He kept learning from various gurus side by side. Although, he could not manage to acquire formal training in music.
